SPFA 2026: Celebrating Excellence, Partnerships, and the Future of Spray Foam
Several months after an energizing week at SPFA 2026 in Las Vegas, Universal Polymers Corporation is still celebrating the momentum, partnerships, and industry achievements that came out of the event. As a spray foam manufacturer committed to contractor success, the UPC team spent the week at SPFA engaging with customers, strengthening relationships, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the SPF industry.
UPC connected with contractors and industry partners by assisting with PCP trainings, leading breakout sessions, and supporting the always‑impressive spray competition (shoutout to Rusty Schrader’s son, Dennis Chester, for taking first place!). Jeremiah Schoneberg and the Arizona Spray Foam team presented an interactive safety presentation and training session, contributing to contractor education and industry best practices.

Arizona Spray Foam Wins National Industry Excellence Award
One of the standout moments from SPFA was celebrating Arizona Spray Foam, winner of the National Industry Excellence Award for Building Enclosure Under 20,000 Sq. Ft.
This award recognizes exceptional craftsmanship and high‑performance insulation work. Arizona Spray Foam continues to set the bar for top‑tier spray foam contractors.
Their strong partnership with UPC technician Jeremiah Schoneberg has played a meaningful role in supporting contractors across both commercial and residential insulation applications. The Arizona Spray Foam team shared powerful words about his impact:
“We truly think the world of Jeremiah. The support [he] has given us, combined with the quality and performance of UPC chemicals, has helped us complete award‑winning work that has elevated our business in a real way.” — Kristen Benedict
“Jeremiah is the kind of guy you want behind you on a tough job. He knows his stuff, he doesn’t overcomplicate things, and when you need help, he shows up.” — Dan Benedict
Jeremiah’s dedication reflects UPC’s commitment to hands‑on support for both commercial insulation and residentialinsulation applications.
Celebrating Rusty Schrader: Strickler Stand Out Award Winner
UPC is also proud to celebrate technician Rusty Schrader, who received the Strickler Stand Out Award at SPFA.

The Strickler Stand Out Award honors individuals who make exceptional contributions to the spray polyurethane foam industry, whose technical expertise, professionalism, and industry impact go above and beyond.
Rusty embodies the qualities celebrated by this award. Known for his technical expertise, steady leadership, and unwavering support for contractors in the field, his recognition is a testament to the high standard of service UPC strives to deliver every day.
Rusty had this to say about winning this award:
“Winning the SPFA Strickler Award is truly mind-blowing. It’s an understatement to say I’m humbled and thankful. This industry changed my life, and I’ll continue to give everything I have through hard work, dedication, and doing all I can for the industry that saved me.”
Looking Ahead: Supporting Contractors and Advancing the Industry
SPFA 2026 highlighted the strength, innovation, and collaboration that continue to move the spray foam community forward.
